He married Mary Ann Clucas (b. March 1873, England; parents b. England) before 1899, NY. She died 9 Feb 1928, Queens, NY. Richard was a sailor at the time of the 1900 US Census, and a bayman (boating) at the time of the 1910 census. At the time of his WWI draft registration he was an iceman in Rockaway, Queens living on Wolcott Avenue, Inwood, Hempstead, Nassau, NY. [Richard went to prison in 1934 for 1st degree manslaughter in the death of Elias Locker, a black man, and is listed as an inmate at Dannemore prison, Clinton, NY.]

Benjamin may have died in childhood as he is not listed in the household in the 1910 census when he would only be age 11 ; John^10 H. Her parents were George and Augusta Maria [Linder] Watts.; Clarence^10 Van Wickler, b. abt 1911, NY; Robert^10 W. Van Wickler, b. 31 Dec 1914, Long Island City, Queens, NY and d. 2 Mar 1958, bur. Farmingdale National Cemetery. He married Joyce Winifred Southwick, b. 20 Feb 1908, Birmingham, Eng. And d. 30 Nov 1971, Long Island, NY. They had five children: Jacqlyne J.[1932-2006; Richard Joseph [1937-2001], Roberta [1939 -   ], Joseph [1942 and d. at age 3 months] and Elizabeth Ann [1947-1988].
